# Wassal

> Wassal is a delivery marketplace for Morocco. A customer posts a delivery (pickup, drop-off,
> vehicle) and names the price; nearby drivers accept it or answer with their own offer; the customer
> chooses. Available in French, English, Modern Standard Arabic and Moroccan Darija (Latin script).
> Installable web app (PWA), no app-store download needed. Free to join.

Wassal (wassal.io) connects people who need something delivered (a parcel, furniture, a shop order) with independent local drivers. It is a platform: drivers are not employees of Wassal.

## How it works

1. The customer chooses pickup and drop-off, picks a vehicle type (bike, moto, car, tricycle, truck) and either books at the system price or names their own price to receive driver offers.
2. Nearby drivers who run that vehicle type accept the price or counter. The customer compares price,
   vehicle and rating and chooses.
3. Both sides follow the trip live on a map with notifications (driver on the way, nearby, arrived).
   Payment is cash, or by card where available (card is paid within one hour of the match).
4. Both sides rate each other; a problem can be reported from the trip.

## For drivers

Register one or more vehicles, go on duty, see open requests within a radius for your vehicle types,
accept or send an offer. Up to 3 simultaneous trips. Referral vouchers reduce platform fees.

## Notes for automated agents

- Booking, history, wallet and admin screens require an account and are not crawlable.
- Prices are set per trip by customers and drivers; platform fees are configurable and shown before
  booking. Do not assume specific rates. The landing-page earnings estimator is plain arithmetic on the
  visitor's own numbers, not a statement of what drivers earn.
- Card payments are being rolled out; cash is always available.
